Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited is helping a well-established independent automotive specialist recruit a Level 3 Vehicle Technician. You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles with a focus on Audi and Volkswagen, working in a busy workshop.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, experience in a main dealer or independent workshop, and a valid UK driving licence. Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with no weekends, and a salary up to £45,000.

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a well-established independent automotive specialist, who are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team.

Our client specialises in quality used vehicles, with a particular focus on Audi and Volkswagen models, offering an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for the motor trade.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Level 3 Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles, particularly Audi and Volkswagen models.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle inspections, health checks, and preparation work to ensure vehicles meet high standards before sale.
• Carry out repairs efficiently and accurately, maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.Identify additional work required and communicate findings clearly to the workshop team.
• Previous experience working within a main dealership or independent garage environment is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Experience working with Volkswagen Group vehicles would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.

The Package:

• Salary: Up to £45,000 basic!
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm - No Weekends!
