Job summary

Jemca Car Group in Bromley is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will diagnose faults with specialist equipment and prepare cars for MOT testing, ensuring timely updates and high-quality workmanship.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, and experience in a main dealer or strong diagnostic software skills. Excellent teamwork and a proactive attitude are essential for success.

• A valid MOT licence (preferred).
• Experience in a main dealer environment preferred, or from an independent with strong diagnostic software skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and record findings accurately.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and resolve advisory issues.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met consistently.
• Work closely with service advisors to provide accurate repair times and updates.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Deliver excellent workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

A qualified Vehicle Technician

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: Bromley

Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + uncappedbonus (estimated at £20,000) + Guaranteed Bonus while on Annual Leave and Training +£2,000 signing bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00 (Paid overtime at 1.5 x hourly rate)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment

• High levels of efficiency with a results-driven approach
• A full UK driving licence is essential
