Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Jaguar and Land Rover specialist near Lewes, East Sussex, for an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role covers servicing, diagnostics, and repairing Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, including classics.

You will join a family-run business with modern workshop equipment, comprehensive training, and a supportive team. Expect a competitive salary up to £45,000 plus on-target earnings and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent is required or proven time-served experience.
• ideally at least five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete servicing, repairs and automotive maintenance to company standards.
• Carry out diagnostics and complex fault-finding.
• Service and repair Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover models.
• Work on modern vehicles and classic cars dating from the 1940s onwards.
• Complete vehicle health checks and communicate findings to the service department.
• Use the in-house TechMan dealer management system accurately.
• Maintain high standards of efficiency, safety and workmanship.
• Complete all work within agreed timescales.

Our client is a well-established, family-run Jaguar and Land Rover specialist near Lewes, East Sussex, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its reputable team. Established since the 1920s, the business has specialised in Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles for more than 30 years and works on modern and classic models.

• Competitive salary up to £45,000, depending on experience as a Vehicle Technician
• On-target earnings of approximately £50,000

Duties:

• Complete servicing, repairs and automotive maintenance to company standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an automotive repair environment
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent, or proven time-served experience
• Ideally, at least five years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
• Jaguar, Land Rover or Range Rover experience is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently while supporting colleagues as part of a team
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information
• A full UK driving licence
• The successful Vehicle Technician will demonstrate a commitment to quality, customer service and long-term development
