Perfect Placement UK Ltd is working with a Jaguar & Land Rover specialist in the Hailsham and Uckfield area to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. You will work on modern and classic models in a family-run environment that values quality and professional growth.

Key duties include diagnostics, servicing, and health checks to manufacturer standards, using in-house DMS, with a supportive team and a clear path for progression. Monday to Friday hours, no weekends.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Prefer 5 years on Jaguar/Land Rover/Range Rover models.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles.
• Service and repair across various models in line with manufacturer standards.
• Complete vehicle health checks and liaise with service advisors.
• Use in-house DMS systems and follow workshop procedures.
• Maintain safety and quality within timeframes.

Our client, a renowned Jaguar & Land Rover specialist based in the Hailsham and Uckfield areas, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established and friendly, family-run team. This Vehicle Technician position offers the opportunity to work on both modern and classic models, within a trusted environment that values quality and professional growth.

• Competitive salary up to £48,000, dependent on experience
• OTE circa £50,000 with generous bonus scheme

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct comprehensive automotive services and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles
• Carry out routine servicing and repairs across a range of models as a Vehicle Technician
• Maintain efficiency without compromising quality of work
• Complete vehicle health checks and liaise with service advisors regarding findings
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within specified timeframes
• Accurately use in-house DMS systems and adhere to workshop procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive repair as a Vehicle Technician
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu
• Ideally 5 years' experience working on Jaguar, Land Rover, or Range Rover models
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Land Rover or Jaguar experience is preferred but not essential
