Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Leeds is recruiting Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established site. We offer a basic salary up to £40,375 depending on skills and experience plus a bonus opportunity up to £5,000.

You will work 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with no weekends, maintaining vehicles to high standards, performing inspections, repairs and services, and handling parts correctly. Career development is highlighted with extensive training opportunities.

The Location:

Our Leeds dealership is ideally located within a major city with excellent transport links, including easy access to the M62 and surrounding areas. This creates a strong and steady customer base, ensuring a busy workshop environment and ongoing workflow across service, maintenance and diagnostic repairs.

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the high standards set out in our Health and Safety policy, carrying out inspections, repairs and services, and correctly handling and storing parts.

In addition, you will be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience. As we have numerous opportunities, we would love to talk to you whether your experience comes from an independent dealer or a volume franchise environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
