Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Salary: £34,000

Our client is a main dealership in Hyde seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. They offer a competitive salary, bonus structure, and excellent opportunities for career progression within a main dealership.

• Working hours: 8:30am-5pm, Monday – Friday
• Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am-12:30pm
• MOT license and accreditation will be provided
• Bonus is paid based on labor sales

Key responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to high standards
• Complete all work efficiently, adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times
• Accurately record diagnosis details, work performed, and parts used in line with standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a polite and professional manner
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure they are met consistently

Minimum requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience post-qualification in a dealership or similar environment
• Strong technical knowledge
• Valid driving license
• Ability to work independently
• Responsibility for the quality and quantity of work
