Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well-established Exeter dealership. The role focuses on servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans and other vehicles to high standards.

You will diagnose faults with equipment, carry out MOTs (Class 4 and 7) when needed, and work both independently and as part of a supportive team. The position offers a stable environment with progression and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and electronic equipment.
• Willingness to work on a range of vehicle brands, mainly vans.
• Motivated, reliable and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans and other vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment to test, trace, and repair vehicle issues.
• Carrying out MOTs (Class 4 and 7) – advantageous but not essential.
• Working efficiently both independently and within a team setting.

• Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, dependent on experience and qualifications

• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 am to 17:30 pm
• Paid Saturday mornings on a 1 in 4 rota basis
