Job summary

London EV Company (LEVC) in London is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service and repair LEVC products, and perform pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles.

You will diagnose issues, liaise with customers and service advisors, and ensure work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards. A strong focus on customer service and a valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Must have own tools and a clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers in clear terms.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing and repairs on LEVC products.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles.
• Complete scheduled servicing and repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Undertake diagnostics to identify causes and solutions for issues.
• Ensure safety and high quality in all servicing activities.
• Document warranty work and provide clear customer reports.

About The Role

Your role will be performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on LEVC products, along with pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles.

• Complete scheduled vehicle servicing and repair in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues.
• Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service.
• Conduct electronic visual health checks on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
• Completing the necessary documentation in respect to warranty work. Maintain a clean and safe work bay.

Experience To Succeed

• Strong focus on customer service with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a track record of delivering results as an automotive technician within the franchised automotive sector
• Experienced supporting a sizeable, fast-moving business
• Must have own tools available and a clean valid UK Driving Licence
