AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a busy main car dealership workshop. You’ll service, diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards using modern diagnostic equipment, with ongoing training and real opportunities for career progression.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, at least 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, your own tools and toolbox, a full UK driving licence, and the

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
• Carrying out maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
• Repairing vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
• Strong servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Your own tools and toolbox
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence - subject to licence checks
• Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for this position
• A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
