Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a motivated Vehicle Technician to join our aftersales team in a busy, modern workshop. You will perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles, with a focus on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction.

Full manufacturer training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow your technical career. You will diagnose issues, stay updated with brand standards, and work efficiently within our processes to maximise productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects.
• Work in a modern, well-equipped workshop with latest tools and technology.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers
• Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

What We’re Looking For

Key information

• Working Pattern: 8:30am - 5:00pm Mon - Fri. Saturdays on a rota paid as OT
