Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team in the South West of England. You will receive full manufacturer training and support to advance your technical career in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

You’ll service, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles, maintaining high standards and prioritising customer satisfaction. A full UK driving licence and Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds are essential, with main dealer experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests.
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards.
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers.
• Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance.
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm Mon – Fri. Saturdays on a rota paid as OT
