Job summary

At Wessex Garages, we’ve been delivering excellence in automotive retail for over 35 years. We hireVehicle Technicians to service and repair vehicles with full manufacturer training in a modern, well-equipped workshop. We look for candidates with a clean UK driving licence and City & Guilds/NVQ in motor maintenance.

Experience in a main dealer is a plus but not essential. Joining our Aftersales team, you’ll work 8:30am–5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays at 1.5x OT, and enjoy benefits including a

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair required.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests.
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards.
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers.
• Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance.
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
