• Full UK Driving Licence required.

• Ensure servicing & repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards.
• Perform electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Conduct warranty repairs.

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership near Slough have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of a NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
1+ year Post Apprenticeship experience
Main Franchise Dealership Experience
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
Franchised Dealer Experience
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) If not you will be helped to qualify
VAG Brand experience

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £35,000 to £37,000 depending on skill/experience
On Target Earnings of £42,000 uncapped

8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
1:3 Saturday morning Rota
