Job summary

Vertu Peugeot Exeter is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain, service and repair vehicles to the highest standards. This 42-hour week has no Saturday shifts and a basic salary aligned with skills and experience.

You will receive a £2,000 sign-on bonus in month one and a further £2,000 in month 13, plus manufacturer training and clear career progression within Vertu Motors’ nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Aim for first-time fixes and quality workmanship.
• Deliver excellent customer experience built on trust.

Join our team at Vertu Peugeot Exeter and become a valued Technician.

We are offering a basic salary between £29,200and £47,780depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42hour working week and no Saturday working!

You will also receive a sign on bonus of £2000in month one of your employment and an additional £2000 in month 13!

The packages we are offering are dependent upon experience and accreditation however you can expect packages as below:

• Service and Maintenance Technicians basicsup to £37,700
• Service and Diagnostic Technicians basicsup to £40,220
• Senior Technicians basics up to £42,740
• Master Technicians basicsup to £47,780

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
