Job summary

Octane Recruitment in St Albans is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern, manufacturer-approved workshop. The role offers a competitive salary up to £42,000 basic per annum, with bonus and overtime (OTE 50k+), and no weekend work.

The successful candidate will perform servicing, fault finding, and component repairs in a well-structured environment with opportunities for training and progression within the dealership group.

Qualifications

• At least one year of workshop experience.
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.
• Own a well stocked toolbox appropriate for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components.
• Cambelt replacement.
