Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in St Albans to join a well established main dealership's aftersales team. You will work in a modern, manufacturer approved workshop focused on training and progression.

Role covers servicing, fault finding, and repair of brakes, suspension, clutch components, and cambelt work. Fixed Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and a salary up to £42,000 plus bonus and overtime (OTE 50k+).

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a workshop environment.
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Own a well-stocked toolbox and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components.
• Cambelt replacement.
