Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Ashbourne to join a busy workshop. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 automotive qualification, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive approach. Working hours are Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota, offering a competitive package including a £3,600 bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Level 3 automotive qualification, such as IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Full clean UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety standards.

Vehicle Technician - Ashbourne

Salary: £32,000-£36,000 basic + £3,600 bonus, giving potential earnings of £35,600-£39,600.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm


• Saturday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
