Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited seeks a Vehicle Technician in Chelmsford to maintain, service and repair a range of customer and dealership vehicles to manufacturer standards.

Role requires Level 3 LVMR or Level 2 with 3+ years’ experience; you should own a well-stocked toolbox and be committed to quality workmanship. Excellent salary, bonus, overtime and benefits on offer.

• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair a diverse range of customer and dealership vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, vehicle health checks, and complex diagnostic fault-finding
• Work on mechanical and electrical systems including brakes, clutches, suspensions and gearboxes

Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years' experience, for one of the UK's leading vehicle retail groups, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Location: Chelmsford

Pay / salary: Up to £35,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE up to £60,000
