Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Cambridge
Basic Salary - £34,000
OTE - £42,000
Paid Overtime
No Saturdays (unless you want overtime)

Our client, a busy franchised car dealership in Cambridge, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team.

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
2. Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
3. In-depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
4. Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

1. Minimum of a NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
2. 1+ year Post Apprenticeship experience
3. Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

1. Car Vehicle Experience
2. Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
3. Franchised Dealer Experience
4. MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) - if not, you will be helped to qualify

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £30,000 - £34,000 (depending on skill/experience)
On Target Earnings of £42,000
Paid Overtime

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
Saturdays (1 in 4 or more if you wish) 8am till 1pm paid as overtime
