Job summary

Jago Consultants are seeking an experienced Main Dealer trained Vehicle Technician for a reputable main dealer. You will perform servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults logically and ensure high workmanship to meet customer satisfaction.

A full UK driving licence is required and there is a clear path to progress to workshop controller. Training will be provided to ensure you operate to the highest standards, with hours Monday to Friday 8:00–17:30 and alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Main dealer experience is an advantage.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner.
• Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work.
• Ensure workmanship meets high standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all legal aspects relating to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.

Our client is a Main dealer car dealership, who are looking to recruit an experienced Main Dealer trained Vehicle Technician.

Working in excellent premises, with very high standards across the board you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best.

To carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer’s guidelines

To diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner

To ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction

Must be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles

Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work.

About you:

To be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification

Main dealer experience an advantage

To have a valid UK driving licence

A full training programme will be designed for the successful applicant, to ensure you can work to the highest standards and ultimately progress your career.

Opportunity to progress to possible workshop controller.

Package:

Basic is depending on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm and alternative Saturdays
