Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a main dealer environment in High Wycombe. You will service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults, and ensure high-quality workmanship to exceed customer expectations.

Applicants should have Level 3 qualification (City and Guilds/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence. MOT licence is advantageous; prior main dealer experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician with main dealer preferred.
• Training to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ Level 3.
• MOT licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner.
• Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work.
• Ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
• A full training programme will be designed to help you progress.

Our client is a main dealer looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician.

Working on excellent premises, with very high standards across the board you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best.

• To carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer’s guidelines
• To diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner
• To ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
• Must be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles
• Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work
• To be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification Level 3
• Previous experience of working as a Vehicle Technician is essential
• MOT Licence would be advantageous
• Ideally, Previous experience of working as a main dealer
• To have a valid UK driving licence

Package:

Qualified Technician – Basic £28K with OTE £40K
Diagnostic Technician – Basic £30K with OTE £42K
