Job summary

Jago Consultants are recruiting on behalf of a Main dealer car dealership for an experienced Vehicle Technician in Milton Keynes. You will service and repair to manufacturer guidelines, diagnose faults and maintain high workmanship standards.

A City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent is expected, with main dealer experience preferred and a valid UK driving licence. A clear progression path to workshop controller is offered.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification required.
• Main dealer experience is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• To carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• To diagnose vehicle faults in a logical and structured manner.
• To ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work.
• Must be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.

Working in excellent premises, with very high standards across the board you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best.

About you:

To be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification

Main dealer experience an advantage

To have a valid UK driving licence

A full training programme will be designed for the successful applicant, to ensure you can work to the highest standards and ultimately progress your career.

Opportunity to progress to possible workshop controller.

Package:

Basic is depending on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm and alternative Saturdays
