Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for our client's main dealership in Bristol. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models, delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, up to £40,000 basic, OTE £50,000. A Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence are required, along with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic with up-to-date Level 3 qualification.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for spotting issues others cannot.
• A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
