Perfect Placement is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a leading multi-franchise dealership in North Bristol. The role offers a starting salary around £32,000 per year, with a monthly performance bonus and the potential for overtime, plus strong training and development opportunities.

You will service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose issues, and log parts against job cards while maintaining high workmanship in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
• Motivation to work towards team and individual targets.
• Experience in vehicle diagnosis and electronics is advantageous.
• Active MOT qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Strip, fit and replace components as required.
• Identify faulty parts and resolve issues.

Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing and repairs on vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Strip, fit, and replace vehicle components as required
• Identify faulty parts and resolve underlying issues effectively
• Log all parts and consumables against job cards accurately
• Perform Vehicle Health Checks and conduct basic diagnostic work
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy workshop environment
• Work efficiently to meet targets and deadlines set by management

Requirements:
