Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team and deliver high-quality servicing and repair work on a range of vehicles in a modern workshop.

You will receive full manufacturer training and ongoing support to advance your technical career, with a focus on first-time fixes and excellent customer satisfaction. The role is based in a well-equipped workshop with standard weekday hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers
• Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

Key information

• Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm Mon – Fri. 1 in 3 Saturdays at 1.5x OT
