Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service, repair and diagnose a range of vehicles in a modern workshop in the UK. You will receive manufacturer training and ongoing support to develop your technical career and stay up to date with brand standards.

The role offers full training, a focus on first-time fixes, and opportunities to grow within the aftersales team, with a 8:30am–5:00pm Mon–Fri pattern and OT on Saturdays by rota.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues, including non-routine defects, in workshop and during road tests.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay up to date with brand standards.
• Work efficiently using available facilities to maximise productivity.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to customers' satisfaction.
