Kia UK Bolton Kia dealership is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy Service team. You will perform a range of maintenance and repair tasks to keep vehicles in top condition and safety standards.

Working in a team of 12 technicians, you will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools, complete detailed reports, maintain clean work areas and stay up-to-date with the latest automotive techniques.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Valid UK driver’s license is essential.
• Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician Qualification or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

The Role

Bolton Kia have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team.

Working in a team of 12 Vehicle Technicians, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.

• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
