Autotech Recruit Ltd is partnering with a well-established automotive business in Bicester to recruit up to two Vehicle Technicians. You will service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and work-life balance.

The role offers a competitive salary (£40,000–£45,000+), no weekend or bank holiday work, and ongoing training to stay ahead in diagnostics and hybrid/EV technology.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Comfortable working with tablet-based workshop systems
• Full UK driving licence

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly successful independent automotive business that is looking to add up to two Vehicle Technicians to its established team. The business maintains a diverse fleet of customer and contract vehicles, working across a range of premium and volume manufacturers.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• MOT preparation and repair work
• Clutch replacement
• Brake and suspension repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• General engine repairs
• Timing belt replacement
• Transmission repairs and maintenance
• Completing work using digital workshop management systems
• Maintaining high levels of workmanship and attention to detail

Vehicles Worked On

The workshop regularly services and repairs a wide range of manufacturers, including premium brands and modern vehicle technologies.

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Comfortable working with tablet-based workshop systems
• Full UK driving licencecandidates interested in training towards an MOT Tester qualification are encouraged to apply
