Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Ballymena, County Antrim, is recruiting several Vehicle Technicians for an established engineering company. The role focuses on interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles and involves assembling metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components.

You will operate plant and hand tools safely, follow assembly drawings, and ensure quality sign-offs. Working hours are 7am–5pm Monday to Thursday (38 hours) with overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 4+ years on-the-tools experience required.

Job description

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: Ballymena, County Antrim

Duration: Ongoing Contract (4+ months)

Pay Rates: £30 per hour (UMB)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Fitters for a well-established engineering company based in Ballymena, County Antrim.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles.
• Assembling a variety of materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components to the vehicles using nuts, bolts and rivets as part of the production process.
• Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.
• Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings.
• Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.
• Moving between several operations whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years on the tools experience.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm (38-hour week)
• Overtime available on Fridays.
