Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Ballymena, County Antrim is seeking a skilled Fitter to join the team on an ongoing contract. You will be responsible for the interior fit-out of electric vehicles and for assembling a range of materials to a high standard using nuts, bolts and rivets.

The role requires safe operation of plant and hand tools, adherence to H&S, and the ability to follow assembly drawings while rotating through multiple stations to maintain quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• 4+ years on-the-tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles.
• Assemble materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components using nuts, bolts and rivets.

Job Title: Fitter

Location: Ballymena, County Antrim

Duration: Ongoing Contract (4+ months)

Pay Rates: £30 per hour (UMB)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Fitters for a well-established engineering company based in Ballymena, County Antrim.

Our client is looking to expand due to an increased workload throughout the business, we are looking to take on further staff immediately.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles.
• Assembling a variety of materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components to the vehicles using nuts, bolts and rivets as part of the production process.
• Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.
• Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings.
• Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.
• Moving between several operations whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years on the tools experience.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm (38-hour week)
• Overtime available on Fridays.
