Job summary

Fusion People in Ballymena, County Antrim, is recruiting a Heating Engineer for the interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles. You will assemble metal, wood, laminate and fiberglass components using nuts, bolts and rivets, and operate plant equipment and hand tools.

You will follow assembly drawings, ensure compliance with H&S policies, and maintain quality sign-offs. The role involves moving between production lines to sustain high workmanship and efficiency, on an ongoing contract with

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years on the tools experience.
• Experience in interior fit-out and assembly processes is preferred.
• Candidates should be able to operate safely and follow H&S procedures.

Job Title: Heating Engineer
Location: Ballymena, County Antrim
Duration: Ongoing Contract (4+ months)
Pay Rates: £30 per hour (UMB)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Fitters for a well-established engineering company based in Ballymena, County Antrim.

Our client is looking to expand due to an increased workload throughout the business, we are looking to take on further staff immediately.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the interior fit-out of large new electric vehicles.
• Assembling a variety of materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components to the vehicles using nuts, bolts and rivets as part of the production process.
• Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.
• Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings.
• Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.
• Moving between several operations whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years on the tools experience.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday – 7am to 5pm (38-hour week)
• Overtime available on Fridays.
