Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking an experienced, fully qualified HGV Vehicle Technician to service, repair and maintain the fleet of emergency vehicles and related equipment at the Stocklake, Aylesbury workshop.
You will join a professional workshop with a 39-hour week, on-call rota, and opportunities for training. Hybrid working and a Local Government Pension Scheme are available.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, fully qualified HGV Vehicle Technician, joining a team responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of the fleet of emergency vehicles, plant, equipment, and light vehicles that support Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.
You will be required to take part in the emergency on-call rota one week out of seven, attracting a standby rate of £352 per week completed. You will initially be mentored by another team member, usually for the duration of the six-month probationary period.
