Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Ashford. You will service, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles, diagnose faults, and perform wheel alignment and tyre work to exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician.
• Strong experience in servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Confident repairing braking, suspension and exhaust systems.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Fast-fit experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with tyres and wheel alignment beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance on a wide range of makes and models.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify required repairs.
• Complete general mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension and exhaust systems.
• Carry out diagnostic and fault-finding work.
• Fit and replace tyres where required.
• Operate wheel alignment equipment and interpret alignment readings.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity and customer service.

Job description

Vehicle Technician role for an experienced Technician to join a busy and established automotive service centre, working across servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Location: Ashford, Kent

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with Saturdays 8:30am – 4:00pm on a rota basis
