Job summary

Vehicle Site Technician role based at a busy retail site in Wimbledon. Work involves maintaining stock vehicles, performing health checks, and carrying out minor repairs to ensure customers receive high-quality vehicles.

Role offers a salary of £33,600–£45,200 depending on experience and qualifications, with weekday hours and no weekend work, at a growing independent automotive group. Uniform, parking, and staff benefits included.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or related role.
• Full UK Driving Licence and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks on used car stock.
• Complete pre-sale inspections and quality checks.
• Undertake servicing and routine maintenance as required.
• Diagnose and rectify minor mechanical faults.
• Replace wear-and-tear components including brakes, batteries and suspension items.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared and presented to the required retail standard.
• Carry out final inspections and last-minute checks prior to customer collection.
• Liaise with the sales team to ensure vehicles are ready for handover.
