Job summary

Ocean BMW in Falmouth is recruiting a Senior Diagnostic Technician to service, diagnose, and repair BMWs using state-of-the-art equipment. You’ll be supported by a structured career progression and receive ongoing BMW training to enhance EV and hybrid skills.

The role offers a realistic OTE of £45,000+ (salary dependent) with a secure base of £35,000–£40,000 and a loyalty bonus. A collaborative workshop environment and generous holiday are included.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle or Service Technician.
• Holds Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Team player and eager to learn.
• Wants to deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across the BMW range using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems.
• Diagnosing faults using BMW technology.
• Inspecting vehicles for wear and damage.
• Replacing and repairing parts to BMW standards.
• Completing software updates and retrofit work.
• Supporting apprentices and fellow technicians.

Experience within a franchised or prestige dealership would be an advantage, but attitude and motivation are just as important.
