Job summary

Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Greater London. You will diagnose, repair and service BMW/MINI vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role offers structured training and working with cutting-edge tools at a leading BMW/MINI franchise. You should have IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) and experience in a main dealer or reputable service environment, with a valid UK driving licence.

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a main dealer or reputable service/repair environment (BMW/MINI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to BMW/MINI UK standards
• Performing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer guidelines
• Conducting thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
• Meeting productivity and quality targets
• Advising on additional repair needs and providing expert technical guidance to customers
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers through video health checks and CitNows
• Staying updated on technical information and BMW/MINI innovations
• Road testing vehicles when required

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to BMW/MINI UK standards
• Performing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer guidelines. Ensuring every vehicle is safe, reliable, and performing at its best.
• Conducting thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
• Meeting productivity and quality targets
• Advising on additional repair needs and providing expert technical guidance to customers when required
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers through video health checks and CitNows
• Staying updated on technical information and BMW/MINI innovations
• Road testing vehicles when required

YOUR PROFILE

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience in a main dealer or reputable service/repair environment (BMW/MINI preferred)
• Strong background in complex repairs and maintenance
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean UK driving licence (min. 1 year)

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Saturdays, 8.30am to 12.30pm paid as additional hours.
