Job summary

Britannia MOT & Repair Centre Ltd in Aylesford, Kent is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to join our award-winning independent garage.

You will carry out servicing and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles to a high standard, with regular hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekend work.

The role requires a Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and at least two years of relevant experience; training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• At least two years' relevant experience in vehicle servicing and repair.
• Good mechanical knowledge and ability to perform servicing and repairs confidently.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and general repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Complete all work to a high standard, following relevant safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including parts used and time spent.
• Keep workspace clean, tidy and organised.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the workshop and the continued success of the business.

The Role
