Job summary

Ford and Slater are one of the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers, with 16 locations and over 900 staff. We seek a Vehicle Sales Progressor for our Leeds dealership to manage vehicle progression, deliveries, and handovers, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service.

The role involves liaising with bodybuilders, sales teams and delivery partners, with Monday to Friday working hours. A competitive salary and in-house training are provided, along with benefits and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment, ideally commercial.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to deadlines.
• Desire to offer world-class customer service.
• PC literate and proficient with standard software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regular contact with key bodybuilders to ensure vehicles are progressing.
• Ensure vehicles arriving on site for sale are received, checked and processed.
• Manage and track stock vehicle locations.
• Progress trucks through to delivery with the sales team.
• Liaise with internal and 3rd party delivery agents.
• Prepare delivery packs with vehicle at handover.
• Plan work and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with the valet company for prep standards.

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Vehicle Sales Progressor in our newly refurbished DAF Dealership in Leeds.

Who are we looking for as a Vehicle Sales Progressor:

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines
• Desire to offer world class customer service
• PC Literate
• Excellent communication skills both written or verbal
• A team Player
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

The Vehicle Sales Progressor role & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
