Job summary

Ford and Slater in Leeds is seeking a Vehicle Sales Progressor to join our DAF dealership. You will coordinate the movement of vehicles from arrival to handover, liaising with sales and delivery teams to keep the process on track.

The ideal candidate has experience in vehicle sales progression, strong communication, PC literacy, and a valid UK driving licence. This full-time, weekday role offers training, benefits, and a supportive, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential).
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Desire to offer world class customer service.
• Proficient PC skills and software literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regular contact with key bodybuilders to ensure vehicles are progressing.
• Ensure vehicles arriving on site for sale are received, checked and processed.
• Manage and track stock vehicle locations.
• Coordinate with sales team to progress trucks up to delivery.
• Liaise with internal and 3rd party delivery agents.
• Prepare delivery packs at handover with vehicle.
• Plan work and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with valet to ensure vehicles are presented to standard.

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Vehicle Sales Progressor in our newly refurbished DAF Dealership in Leeds.

Who are we looking for as a Vehicle Sales Progressor:

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential)

The Vehicle Sales Progressor role & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
