Job summary

Ford & Slater in Leeds is seeking a Vehicle Sales Progressor to join our newly refurbished DAF dealership. You will work with our sales team to keep vehicles moving from arrival to handover, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

The role requires strong communication, PC literacy and a can-do attitude. We offer a competitive salary, extensive in-house and manufacturer training, 22 days holiday rising to 25, and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines.
• Desire to offer world class customer service.
• PC literate with good written and verbal communication.
• A team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Regular contact with key bodybuilders to ensure vehicles are progressing.
• Ensure that all vehicles arriving on site for sale are received, checked and processed.
• Manage and track stock vehicle locations.
• Coordinate with sales team to progress trucks to delivery.
• Liaise with internal and third-party delivery agents.
• Ensure delivery packs are ready with vehicle at handover.
• Plan work and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with valet company to prep vehicles to standard.

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Vehicle Sales Progressor in our newly refurbished DAF Dealership in Leeds.

Who are we looking for as a Vehicle Sales Progressor:

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines
• Desire to offer world class customer service
• PC Literate
• Excellent communication skills both written or verbal
• A team Player
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

The Vehicle Sales Progressor role & responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Ensure trucks are progressed through up until the point of delivery liaising closely with sales team
• Liaise with internal and 3rd party delivery agents
• Ensure delivery packs are ready with vehicle at point of handover
• Planning work / delivery dates
• Liaise with valet company to ensure vehicles are prepared to the correct standard
