Job summary

Ford and Slater are seeking a Vehicle Sales Progressor in our Leeds dealership. The role focuses on coordinating vehicle progression, ensuring on-site vehicles are checked and ready for sale, and maintaining proactive communication with the sales team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Regular contact with key bodybuilders to ensure vehicles are progressing.
• Ensure vehicles arriving on site for sale are received, checked and processed.
• Manage and track stock vehicle locations.
• Ensure trucks are progressed through up until handover, liaising closely with sales team.
• Liaise with internal and 3rd party delivery agents.
• Ensure delivery packs are ready with vehicle at handover.
• Planning work / delivery dates; liaise with valet company for prep to standard.

Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Vehicle Sales Progressor in our newly refurbished DAF Dealership in Leeds.

Who are we looking for as a Vehicle Sales Progressor:

• Experience in a vehicle sales progressor environment (ideally Commercial Vehicle but not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines
• Desire to offer world class customer service
• PC Literate
• Excellent communication skills both written or verbal
• A team Player
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

The Vehicle Sales Progressor role & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
