Job summary

Vertu Ford Morpeth is seeking a Prep Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles to the highest standards and manufacturer guidelines. You will work to timeframes with strong productivity and customer service as a core value.

The role offers a basic salary of £28,000 to £34,000 depending on skills and experience, with Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure PDIs meet manufacturer guidelines and high standards.
• Work to agreed time frames while maintaining productivity and customer service.
• Support quality workmanship and first-time fixes.
