Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Location: AAR Nottingham

We are looking for a Vehicle Parts Manager to join our state-of-the-art Activate Accident Repair Nottingham Bodyshop!

Role overview:
You will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the parts department. Excellent organisation and communication skills will help you to plan and coordinate vehicle parts to meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily parts coordination for both internal and stock deliveries.
  • Update parts ordering system.
  • Ensure all parts delivered to the site are checked against the parts list for accuracy, correct parts, quantity, and quality.
  • Complete and deliver relevant documentation to the appropriate departments on time.
  • Conduct monthly stock checks, reconciling with usage and supplier invoices.
  • Monitor and control resources within the parts department.
  • Work within internal procedures to meet targets set by your line manager.
  • Inform Workshop Controller and reception of any potential delays in parts arrival.
  • Input all parts delivery information into the management system and pass paperwork to the accounts department.

Skills and experience:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
  • Flexibility in handling demand, tasks, and process changes.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, managing workload with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Full driving license with appropriate classification for duties.
  • Experience in vehicle appraisal.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
