Job summary

BCA in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Bodyshop Technician to join our experienced team. You’ll prepare vehicles for paint, ensure panels are defect-free, and support other workshop areas under the supervision of the Bodyshop Manager.

With at least 1 year in a bodyshop and a full UK driving licence, you’ll help maintain high standards for customers and mentor junior technicians. Benefits include onsite parking, a company pension, cycle to work, and access to BCA Rewards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop role (min 1 year).
• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years).
• Willing to support junior cosmetic technicians and share expertise.
• A passion for the motor industry and high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paint, including masking, priming, sanding, and cleaning panels.
• Ensuring there are no defects on prepared panels.
• Supporting other workshop areas as needed.
• Assisting with training of junior team members.
