Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our independent dealership and service centre team. You will perform routine servicing, general mechanical repairs, and systematic diagnostic fault-finding using modern equipment to uphold high industry standards.

Applicants should hold NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, have solid diagnostics knowledge, a full UK driving licence, and own hand tools. DVSA MOT Smart Card is a bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with proven workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostic, servicing and mechanical repair knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools are essential.
• DVSA MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing to high industry standards.
• Perform general mechanical repairs and diagnostic fault-finding with modern equipment.
• Maintain service procedures and prepare vehicles for delivery.

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your hands-on experience and technical skill level)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join our highly respected independent dealership and service centre team in Cheltenham. You will carry out routine servicing, general mechanical repairs, systematic diagnostic fault-finding using modern equipment, and maintain service procedures across customer vehicles to high industry standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with a proven track record in a professional workshop setting
• Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine servicing, and general mechanical repair
• Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
