Job summary

Vehicle Mechanic – HGV Training in Chichester, West Sussex. This role offers £32,000 to £35,000 per year (37 hours) with overtime paid at time and a half, plus 36 days holiday, progression opportunities and benefits. You will receive full training to become a HGV mechanic and contribute to servicing a modern fleet.

Working Monday to Friday, 37 hours with overtime opportunities. You will perform body repairs, fault finding and MOT preparation, supporting a skilled workshop team and progressing to

Qualifications

• Level 3 Light vehicle qualification and interest in HGV maintenance.
• Willingness to undergo full training on heavy goods/municipal vehicles.
• Commitment to long-term development in vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a fleet of heavy vehicles.
• Carry out body repairs, fault finding and MOT preparation.
• Work Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Chichester, West Sussex (Commutable from: Portsmouth, Southampton, Worthing, Midhurst, Petersfield)

Once fully trained, in this role you will service and maintain a fleet of heavy vehicles. The work will involve body repairs, basic fault finding and MOT preparation.

This is a Monday to Friday 37hr week with opportunities to earn overtime and increase your earnings.
