Job summary

H2O Recruitment & Training Services Ltd, on behalf of a Fareham-based automotive business, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician to join a growing workshop team.

The role involves servicing, repairs and diagnostics on a range of vehicles, including prestige and performance models, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities required.
• Experience with prestige/performance vehicles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Undertake inspections and identify additional work required.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure vehicles are prepared to high standards.

We are recruiting on behalf of an established, high-end automotive business in the Fareham area that is looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to join its growing workshop team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, hands‑on technician who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working with a variety of prestige, performance and specialist vehicles.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Undertake inspections and identify any additional work required.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure vehicles are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or similar.
• Ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience working with prestige or performance vehicles would be advantageous.
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
