Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician at our Leicester VMU.

Working hours: 40 per week

Shift: Rotating shifts:

• Week 1: 06:00-14:30 Mon-Fri
• Week 2: 12:30-21:00 Mon-Fri

Flexible hours can be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: Base pay £17.25 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.85 per hour), and 10pm - 6am (£2.24 per hour).

Responsibilities:

• Perform service and repair of the company fleet according to maintenance schedules
• Complete service and inspection records
• Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing
• Perform ad-hoc repairs and investigate vehicle defects

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational licenses such as LGV C&E license (class one)
• Knowledge of automotive and testing equipment
• Ability to lift heavy components
• Experience with welding and electrical troubleshooting
• Valid driving license
