Job summary

Plantforce Rentals Ltd in the South West is seeking a Mobile & Workshop Service Engineer to service and maintain a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment from our Exeter depot, with occasional work from our Liskeard depot as required.

You will perform routine servicing, monitor lubricants, carry out preventative maintenance, fault reporting, inspect and prepare plant for transfer, and fit replacement parts, working with the team on larger tasks and embracing our digital upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy plant and construction equipment is beneficial.
• Experience in construction routine maintenance to required standards.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plant maintenance would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• The routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturers schedule and specification.
• Regular lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment.
• Preventative maintenance / monitoring.
• Fault reporting.
• Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment.
• Fitting replacement parts.
