Job summary

City West Country Limited is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Hill Barton site in Exeter. You will support on-site vehicle logistics operations, inspecting incoming vehicles and maintaining stock presentation to meet quality standards.

You will help ensure delivery schedules run smoothly, assist with key management and site security, and contribute to a team-focused, development-oriented culture with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in the motor industry preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt of all vehicles and ensure processes meet company standards.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage or missing items and report issues promptly.
• Prepare dealer and inter-group transfer vehicles for collection and handover keys and book packs.
• Manage key cabinets and oversee drivers involved in deliveries and collections, ensuring correct use of tags and hangers.
• Maintain compound security and report any concerns or breaches.
